Athens has several facilities for exercise in each municipality. 
Almost every neighbourhood has a stadium, were you can busy yourself with popular sports (football, basketball, volleyball etc.). For instance, we mention the stadiums of Panellenios, Sporting, Ethnikos and Nikaia.

Furthermore, in several areas there are swimming-pools. Some of them are the Olympic Pool, the swimming-pools of Zographou and Nea Smyrni, the swimming-pool of the Students’ Hall at Patesion Str. and the swimming-pool at Roof.

For sailing you will apply to the Nautical Club of Phalero and to the National Sailing Center of Piraeus at Mikrolimano.

For rowing to the Greek Rowing Association of Friends of Water Sports.

For surfing to the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni and to the Nautical Club of Vari.

For horseback riding to the Greek Equestrian Club at Paradeisos Amarousiou, at Varymbobi and to the Center of Horseback Riding Tutoring at Goudi.

For archery to the Shooting ground at Kaisariani.

For tennis you will find many courts. We mention the most characteristic: at Agios Kosmas, at Vouliagmeni, at the Olympic Stadium.
